Glad I couldn’t watch this shit fest.

Guess Roy knows how to game plan for next season.

At least we have the Championship all stars on the squad already.

You know I was thinking before the match today that (if) now (when) we go down, I’m wondering if either keeper will stick around. Niemi could be playing with another premier club and I don’t see Keller sticking around and playing in the fizzy pop league. Not at his age. So what then? Warner? Oh oooh!

Is Batista ever going to be ready?

Niemi and Keller are of quality to do well in the Championship, even at Keller’s advancing age… Warner is enough to be adequate… he can do the spectacular just as well as the inconceivable.

I’d place money on only one of the three to stick around… I’m sure Keller might get an offer from an MLS club, but his contract runs through the end of next year while Niemi’s is up at the end of this one, I believe.

As stated previously, Keller cost too much for an MLS team because he has his price (He’s his own agent) and would only go as a designated player. Meaning big bucks and there are many young keepers in MLS or in the US more precisely. Not something we are short of, right? So unless Keller lowers his expectations, and why should he, (he’s made a boat full of money), he will not play in MLS.

I think he will just retire or try to catch on with another London team.

I read somewhere (i think it was in one of the london papers) that Keller wanted to stay at Fulham no matter what division we’re in. He said how he’s played in London for the majority of his career and that his family are happy here. I hope he does stay and we get to keep the core players to help us back, namely Bullard, Davies, Hangeland and Andreasen. If we can hold on to those four and make a few additions, we’ll be a force next season and hopefully get promoted first time round.

I don’t see any way we’re keeping Bullard and Davies. We barely pay Premeirship wages when we’re in the Prem. We won’t pay [for us] outlandish wages in the CCC. If we do well next year, it’ll be on a minimum budget. The days when MAF splashes out big are over.

As for Batista, he’s gotten good solid marks in U-23 matches. I’d like to see him on the pitch for the rest of this season. It wouldn’t bother me much if he were our #1 next season.
