“Our first-half performance gave me hope but we made bad mistakes for the goals and paid the price,” said Hodgson. “I’m not giving up the ghost but you’re looking at a manager who can’t just put on an act. It’ll be very hard now to lift the players. I only hope you will allow me to grieve for the result in a dignified way.”

He’s a good man, our manager.

Let’s hope that we don’t see yet another change should we go down.  Hodgson deserves the chance to turn things around properly in the offseason.
