Keller and Healy hint at returns

“I’m as committed as anyone at the Club. It’s disappointing the amount of games that I have played. Everybody wants to play and score goals and I want to be a part of this, whatever the future is. Hopefully the future is bright.”

Says David Healy. Good. I’m still thrilled to have a player like him at the club. Yes, yes, it hasn’t happened, but I can’t give up on him because he’s clearly got it in him to do some good things.

“I’ve let the club know that I would definitely be willing to sit down and talk about next year.”

Says Kasey Keller. And why not?

Setanta says Keller had a bad day on Saturday. Turns out he conceded more than he saved. To me that just says bad defending. If players are getting shots in that can’t be stopped the ‘keeper’s either incompetent or exposed.

Damning

“We’ve got some players who are out of the team who don’t want my arm around them because they think they’re fantastic players and they can’t understand why I’ve left them out of the team,” he said. “Other players who are really giving their all for the club maybe need an arm around them.”
