200percent: What not to wear
More great stuff from the best general football blog out there. This time it’s a look at the Euro 2008 away kits.
The Turkey efforts are intriguing.
Sweden (who Mart and I are supporting this summer) have gone a shade darker than I would’ve.
And as the man says, Austria’s black away kit is slightly sinister.
Part 1 - the home kits - is here. Great stuff.
Also, rumours abound that Fulham will have new kits next year. Wasn’t there a directive that we had to keep the same one for a while? That hasn’t happened for a bit has it? Suits me, I get quite excited at new kits, but perhaps a bit much for families who have to buy several.
I too have always been a big Sweden supporter and love their old colors. But the dark blue seems to be the new hot color.
The new Thunder kit which is actually darker blue than appears in this photo.

I’m kind of lost for Euro 2008. I always support England, and follow the Home Countries and the Republic as well. None of them are there, so out of kinship to ChicagoTom, I’m rooting for Polska. Besides, it’ll give me a great kick if the team we kicked 0-3 on their patch winds up to be Europ champs.
As far as new FFC kits are concerned, that’s pretty much a banker, isn’t it? I quite like this year’s home kit and after 9 points in our last three road matches, the away kits are growing on me also.
I’m cheering on Croatia, nice to see their kits are reminiscent of ‘98. Could be a good omen.
