Chills

I have to admit this video made me a bit misty and put a lump in my throat. Some scenes I had forgotten or tried to forget and others gave me the chills. Warner’s bobble, McBride’s knee, the wink, three times off the bar, and finally Rich and the gang in a blurry and distant parting shot. It’s all here in the best produced video I’ve seen yet of the season. And how can you go wrong with The Verve? Enjoy!

Unbelievable. Great video. Kamara’s 90th minute strike at Man City gets my vote for goal of the season. Instead of a missed opportunity, like much of the season, it was a goal with a huge exclamation point. We were going down fighting. And would you believe it – we’re staying up!

  5. wow, that is sweet. I’m going to watch that at least 10 times today

  6. Chills there. Especially McBride, Bullard, and Kamara. Unbelievable that City match was.

  7. Sweet video. I second the Kamara Man City strike for goal of the season. A close second would be Bullards free kick against Villa for sure.

What a great Video. Truly inspiring. This Great Escape will go down in History; we cannot forget what we can do when next season kicks off!

  9. For me it has to be the Davies header against Man City. Bouazza won the ball at our corner flag, swept up field via Davis, Dempsey, Bouazza again, then a classy header to finish. Amazing, and nobody noticed!

“A close second would be Bullards free kick against Villa for sure.” – I totally agree. It was at that point where I starting thinking….just maybe we have a chance. Like a lot of people, I started to think that Jimmy would be the answer to all of our problems. One man can never be all of that, but his contribution late in the season is hard to overstate. How many times was a goal created by his direct, or indirect, free kick?!

  11. Finally got around to watch this. Great stuff.
