No news is good news

So I’ll keep on with my look-backs.

In the meantime, I’m spending today and tomorrow putting together this year’s Fulham Review. I had, of course, forgotten just how much work went into last year’s, and it’s really taking its time coming together. First you need to get all the reports, then paste them in, then find the team news, then the scores, etc, then paste that in, then format it all, then do the next one… this before any attempt at editing has taken place.

[Brian sorted me out re. pics - cheers!]

Slightly new look to this year’s book… I reckon it’s going to work well.

  1. It would depend on what software you’re using:

in Photoshop, I believe that you either convert the image to Greyscale, or just reduce the saturation.

  2. I’m new to this site – relatively — can we get TFR on this side of the drink?

  3. absolutely. Last year’s nicely published version is available from the link on the right, this years… well I don’t know how we’re proceeding with it yet. It’ll either be a free download and/or Lulu purchase (details to follow as and when), or it’ll be done ‘properly’ again. Probably the former I’d guess. We’re some way away yet, but I’m hard at it so thought I’d talk it up…

Hi Claude – Just wanted to say thanks again for all your hard work this year. As for as I’m concerned you’ve been most consistently excellent part of Fulham all season. Back in the dark times, when McBride went down who knows what was on the field, we always had you. You are the heart of the team as much or more than any player, and one of the big reasons we kept all caring about the team. Congratulations on one the most memorable seasons ever. You’ve stuck through your team through thick and thin and your happiness is well deserved. Looking forward to your review!

Thanks also to BQ. He’s been a great addition!

  5. Rich,

Can’t wait to add a second year to my collection. Looking forward to it (especially since I know that it’s a happy ending!).
