Late goals

Filed under: General — weltmeisterclaude @ 4:13 pm

UEFA 2008:  77 goals in total, 18 of them in the final five minutes.

In the first round, 16 games, seven goals came after the 90th minute.

Is this a change in football?  How will it affect Fulham?  Will Roy just keep it tight again then throw on forwards late on if we’re behind?  Interesting to ponder.

  1. I like to think we started this trend of letting in late goals while under Sanchez. The fact that teams are copying Sanchez just shows how good he was. He after all keeps telling us how he deserves credit for everything.
