Several English clubs have shown interest for Fredrik Stoor after his breakthrough for both Rosenborg and the national team. Now Fulham have made a bid.
“We have received an enquiry from Fulham, but I will not tell the size of the bid,” director of sports Erik Hoftun tells Norwegian daily Trønder-Avisa.
Rosenborg are willing to sell the right back.
“We have just extended the contract with Fredrik, and we are of course interested in keeping him. But this is football. If the bid is good enough, we will sell,” Hoftun says.
I shall try to attribute these when I get time.
UPDATE: Tony Kallio signs for 2 more years. Which is intriguing. Perhaps he wasn’t fully fit last year.
He did really well in the reserves
I see Kallio as a low risk squad addition. Roy knows him well and must believe he’s capable of performing in the Prem if called upon, but he’s not going to cost us a lot to retain.
