Stoor nearly in; Stefanovic nearly out

How about that?  A giant Fredrik Stoor.

The Sky Sports story is here.

Dejan Stefanovic has passed a medical at Norwich, and Junior Omozusi might be going too. Someone on TiFF who knows someone at Norwich says that the stumbling block is about how Omozusi will be used, with Roy wanting him to be a regular player and Glenn Roeder prepared to offer no guarantees.

I’m really tired. It’s our 12 hour charity football marathon tomorrow – you can sponsor us here – and frankly I’m cacking it. I’ve bought two new pairs of Holland style sky blue socks, and I’m hoping they do the trick and make me good. It’s a lot to ask of a pair of socks, but desperate times require desperate measures. Otherwise we’ll just have to see. 8am start, 8pm finish. It scarcely seems possible, does it? I might’ve managed when I was eleven, but now? Oh well.

So I’ll be missing the Celtic friendly, which is probably no bad thing as the place will be heaving with their supporters (one of whom will be in my seat!) and it’s a friendly and we’ll probably lose anyway. If Jamie’s there I’m hoping he’ll do us another report, otherwise I’m sure we won’t be short of opinion one way or another.

One thing to look for is the left flank. Could Lee Cook emerge as an option there? If he’s fit now, and if he’s as good as QPR fans said he was back when we bought him, he could be like a new signing for us this year. Best not get our hopes up, but something to think about.
