(Eddie Johnson wasn't called in either, for what it's worth; apparently he's starting to find some form at Cardiff, incidentally.) The squad was almost all MLS-based players, a couple of guys playing in Norway (also in their offseason if I'm not mistaken), and three guys not playing regularly for their European clubs (Brad Guzan at Villa, Jozy Altidore at Villarreal, Freddy Adu at Monaco). The next round of qualifying starts in February so presumably that will be Clint's next callup.
