I applaud Hodgeson’s comments and I understand them, but am I alone in feeling a bit disappointed that we didn’t even really attempt to get ourselves involved in the game. It’s almost as if, for the sake of resting players, we would have been happy to take a 5-0 loss before the game had begun. I can understand the difference in quality, but to have no ambition or desire to be involved seems to me to be outragious.
