We played our 12 hours yesterday and, even though I was in goal most of the day, I’ve pretty much seized up. Ho hum. The young me would have laughed at the old me, but such is life and we must do our best.
I’m in Edinburgh via Birmingham as of this evening, so see you later next week.

Just remember, even though you were in goal for 12 hours, Jan Lastuvka STILL let in more goals than you.

……….and from the Gold Coast match it looks like Zuberbueler could let in even more ! I hope Stockdale’s coming on well.

Went to the Melbourne match. Stockdale played about 40 mins. Didn’t have much to do, but he looks the goods. Much as the TIFF don’t want to hear it, Seol was probably the stand out man for me. EJ looked like he’s bulked up, and took his goal well. BZ did what BZ does – held up well and fluffed 2 easy chances. Erik was sharp. The Fulham support was fantastic – I was amazed at the numbers and the volume – it was great fun
