Thanks for the memory – we must have been mad to settle for the bus.
Insult added to the injury of match officials
And yet proud of our fans
Not quite a Bologna or a Zagreb of an evening but better than Berlin

Great pics, especially the crowded bus (I’m guessing the one from or to the plane) and the Distinti Nord entrance. Mine are still on the camera but I will get them up somewhere soon.

Na – that crowded bus is to the ground. I imagine Chopper that you walked over ‘the bridge’?

No we were on the Fulham coach. We were far too chicken to risk the “bridge of death”!

Thanks Rich – now everyone can see I’m going bald! But I’m ok about it. Fine. Happens to the best of us. The Italian babes still loved me. I’m quite sure of that.

Matthew – I’d long for a head of hair that luxuriant!

Not really related to this item, but thought you might be interested to know that there’s a couple of interviews with Roy in the Sunday papers (Times and Observer). The print version of the Observer includes a listing of Roy’s favourite books. I know that Roy’s reading habits are a subject close to your heart, so might be worth a butchers….
