Antidote to unseasonal sunshine

Leaving the ground.

Not even sure when this was, but I’ve only just got the photos off my phone. It’s funny, the world, isn’t it? When the sun’s out, like it is today, it seems perfectly natural, as if things are always this way. You forget the bad weather. And when the weather’s bad you forget when it’s fine. That’s one of the nice things with the football season: you get to see the game played in the sun, rain, wind, snow. Which is a great thing.

And while I’m here, what a shame the fixtures have all gone wrong this season. We’ll get precisely one home game on a Saturday afternoon while the sun’s out, none if the weather goes by the time Arsenal come. That’s a huge shame.
